Advanced SMT/SMD Assembly
🎬 Take a closer look at our technology! 👇
To ensure the highest level of precision and repeatability, our facility is equipped with a fully automated surface mount line from industry-leading manufacturers. Our high-performance machinery allows us to handle even the most demanding high-density projects with total reliability.
Our SMT line consists of:
EKRA Precision Screen Printer: High-accuracy solder paste application, ensuring perfect foundations for every joint.
Yamaha Pick-and-Place System: Versatile and high-speed automated component placement, supporting a wide range of component sizes with micron-level precision.
Heller 9-Zone Reflow Oven: Advanced thermal profiling with nine heating zones, providing optimal soldering conditions and thermal stability for complex assemblies.
Electronics is one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide. Currently, the primary goal is miniaturization, which allows us to significantly reduce the size of the devices we use every day. This trend brings numerous other advantages beyond aesthetics.
Implementing new technologies, particularly in SMD assembly, often optimizes the manufacturing process and shortens lead times, thereby reducing the overall cost of the final product. This progress contributes to the widespread adoption of innovative solutions, while the resulting price reduction allows these advanced technologies to reach a broader range of new customers.

SMT Assembly Technology
One of the most effective solutions in modern electronics is SMT (Surface-Mount Technology). This process utilizes SMD (Surface Mount Devices), which include integrated circuits, transistors, resistors, capacitors, and various other components. These devices are characterized by their extremely small size and low-profile, flat-packaged design.
SMD Component Characteristics
Due to their construction, SMD components are highly sensitive to electrical hazards, such as overvoltage or electrostatic discharge. Therefore, SMT/SMD assembly must take place within a strictly controlled ESD (electro-static discharge) protected environment.
The specific area designed to eliminate static-related damage is known as the EPA (electro-static protected area). Since static charges can accumulate almost anywhere-on our hands, clothing, or the tools we use – working within this protected zone is essential to prevent costly losses and minimize the risk of failure during the surface mount process.

Precision Soldering in SMT Assembly
Our surface-mount assembly is performed on a professional SMT line, built with high-end machinery from YAMAHA and an advanced Heller reflow oven. This configuration allows for the simultaneous soldering of all SMD components, ensuring exceptional line efficiency and throughput.
Automating the soldering process during surface assembly eliminates the inherent risks of manual soldering. It prevents issues such as component damage or uneven heating of the laminate (PCB)-problems that are nearly impossible to avoid when handling such miniature parts by hand.
Advantages of SMT Assembly
The primary advantage of SMT is the capacity for full process automation, which significantly improves production lead times and overall efficiency. Furthermore, miniaturization and the ability to populate components on both sides of the PCB pave the way for continuous innovation and product enhancements. Circuits manufactured using SMD assembly also exhibit excellent mechanical stability, maintaining high reliability even when exposed to intense shocks and vibrations.

Stay ahead of the competition with our advanced SMT assembly. We specialize in electronics outsourcing, offering high-volume production with a commitment to excellence in both design and manufacturing. Contact us today to discuss your next project.
